Waiting in an airport is one of my un-favourite things to do. . But we did our time and deported Vancouver pretty much on time. Cross the equator, and the dateline a few times to make it to Auckland about-5:30 am on Tuesday. A nine year old boy lost this birthday to the dateline. I told everyone he would probably appreciate this when he was turning 30. Short nap, followed by a second breakfast. A walk to a shopping centre just outside the airport grounds. Gas puce over $2 /litre.Wow!
CAIRNS
A 5 hour flight to Cairns without incident. Except that out travel itinerary said there were no meals and there were breakfast + lunch. Internet access is proving to be more difficult, thus the delay in this blog.The picture is of Linda on the boardwalk across the street from our hotel.
